Innovation at memScan- The Future of Quality Control in the Semionductor Industry
memScan e.U. is committed to pioneering innovations that enhance quality and effficiency in the semiconductor manufacturing. One of the standout project currently in development is the "Upload" machine, designed for fully automated quality control of semicunductor components.
Upload is an advanced inspection system that makes the contact points between microchips and circuit boards visible and automatically analyzes them using image processing technology. These components involve microscopically small electrical connections known as microbumps which are only a few micrometers in size and are critical for the quality of electrical connections between elements.
In practice, detects such as cracks in the contact points often occur, cause unstable or faulty connections. These defects lead sifnificant scrap rates, reduce in produciton efficiency.
Our trarget audiences for this innovation include:
